Nicholas Ennos is a graduate of Leeds University where he studied French and German. After university he qualified as a solicitor.

He is a lover of the novels of Jane Austen but has always been troubled by the contrast between the towering literary achievement of the author and the lack of education and the mundane life of Jane Austen.

He has spent the last 10 years researching the life of Eliza de Feuillide, Jane Austen's cousin and sister in law, and the true author of the novels of Jane Austen.  During his research he has uncovered irrefutable evidence that Eliza de Feuillide was the author of these anonymously published novels and that her authorship was covered up by the Austen family at the time of Jane Austen's death.

For the first time in this book he also reveals how Eliza de Feuillide was praised as a famous novelist during her lifetime, in spite of the fact that no books were ever published under her name.
